Roofing in the rain
September 20, 2022. Despite the downpour over the last few days, roofing has begun on the new Little Peaks Preschool & Early Childhood Center. Huge raindrops fell as roofers prepped the site for shingling. Today, I met with a timber playground designer then toured a prospective parent around our building as my two-year-old jumped in muddy puddles. She was the first of many Muddy Buddies to explore the natural landscape around our new center. The site is as compelling in the autumn rain as it is in the summer sun.
This fall, I am turning my attention to matters of enrollment and employment so that we can begin to populate our new building with life. Next month, we will kick off a fall fundraising drive to pave the way for opening day in Summer 2023. Thanks for being part of our journey, and stay tuned for construction updates!
