FULLY FRAMED @ LITTLE PEAKS

August 23, 2022. The Little Peaks made headlines again with the publication of a front page story in the Adirondack Daily Enterprise. The newest story, “Reaching a peak, little by little” by Lauren Yates, captured our community open house on Tuesday, August 16. The piece describes our building, land, plans, and programming in great detail. Since the flurry of publications, Little Peaks has been flooded with enrollment requests and donor interest. On all accounts - building, opening, enrolling, hiring, fundraising - we have great momentum heading into the fall!

Since our site tour on Tuesday, the roof has gone up! Our construction team is now working on the eaves for the porches and overhangs at each entry and exit. The backfill process will begin shortly so that we can start to plan our landscaping and playground layout. Thanks to the generosity of new donors this week, we have been able to order our kitchen equipment and begin developing our playgrounds. We are so grateful to our neighbors, family members, volunteers, trustees, parents, and friends for supporting this project.

If you are interested in supporting the Little Peaks project, please reach out to Reid Jewett Smith.

Thank you for your ongoing support!
