Monday, June 13, 2022 - In lieu of a formal groundbreaking ceremony, Little Peaks will celebrate the progress of our building project with open community tours. Join us on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 5:30 PM to tour our building site and learn more about the development of our center. We are eager to share our story with all community members and Little Peaks stakeholders, from neighbors to former parents and grandparents to seasonal friends to Little Peaks alumnae!

Thanks to the tireless and ingenious work of our GC Scotty McClelland, we are moving too swiftly for a formal groundbreaking… and this is a good thing! For those of you who can’t attend our site visit tomorrow, check out the picture gallery for exciting updates. This week, our concrete footers are being poured. The building’s footprint has been excavated and mapped out. The waterman is safely buried 5 feet beneath our filled-in driveway. On Wednesday, the concrete foundation begins and wall framing begins off site.

  • Site located across from the Town Offices (10892 NYS Route 9N, Keene, NY 12942)

  • Please park at the Town Office lots (adjacent to building and old Keene firehouse), then Dartbrook South’s riverside parking lot (just down 9N)

  • We have a few spaces for people who will need drive-on site access

  • Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes or boots for the construction site!

  • Children need to be closely supervised by a parent at all times (I’ll have mine in a backpack carrier!)
