The Road to Enrollment: Community Needs Assessment & Affordability Survey

January 10, 2022. The Little Peaks Tuition & Enrollment Task Force has released an updated Community Needs Assessment and Affordability Survey. Developed by a committee of childcare providers, lawyers, educators, and prospective parents, this short survey will help us determine key aspects of our new center’s operations - hours of operation, staffing needs, seasonal demand, geographical appeal, and affordability. This is the first stop on the road to enrollment. The survey represents an early exploration of ways we might set tuition levels so that Little Peaks thrives and remains affordable for families. The anonymous survey is meant to help us understand general trends in our community’s ability to pay for childcare at Little Peaks today and in the future. Participation in this survey will not impact any tuition assistance decisions - and is based on hourly estimates about what it will cost us to run the business - fair wages, maintenance costs, program expenses, administrative support, etc.

Please fill out one survey per household and forward widely to your friends, neighbors, and colleagues in the region. And even if you don’t have children at the moment, we encourage you to check out the survey so that you can see how we are approaching the task of shaping our policies.

Thank you for helping us down the road to enrollment!
